Dana L. Getz, O.D.
Meet Dr. Dana L. Getz, an esteemed second-generation optometrist with over 30 years of experience in providing exceptional eye care. As a graduate with honors from the University of California School of Optometry, Dr. Getz has dedicated her career to positively impacting her patients’ lives. Her passion for optometry, academic excellence, and extensive clinical skills enables her to offer comprehensive eye care solutions, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and ocular medications. Dr. Getz takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns, finding practical and personalized approaches to address their eye health needs.
Dr. Getz has dedicated her career to adult and pediatric optometry. She completed an internship and residency at the SUNY, College of Optometry in Vision Therapy. She has consulted with schools in the New York metropolitan area on how to identify students with vision problems. Her dedication to mentoring future optometrists, opticians, and healthcare providers showcases her commitment to improving her profession.
Dr. Getz has given back to her community by volunteering with World Vision, Volunteer Optometrist Serving Humanity, ONESIGHT Adopt-A-School Pledge and VSP Global’s Eyes of Hope which provide eye exams and glasses for students-in-need.
Outside of the office, Dr. Getz has been recognized as the Volunteer of the Year in Floral Park and she is a member of the Nassau County Medical Reserves Corps. She is also proud to be a certified Therapy Dog Handler.

Sayuj Zachariah, O.D.
Dr. Sayuj Zachariah is an accomplished optometrist passionate about eye care and patient well-being.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Macaulay Honors Program at Brooklyn College, Dr. Zachariah diversified his expertise by minoring in small business management and minority entrepreneurship. He further honed his skills at the State University of New York College of Optometry, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree.
During his clinical training at prestigious institutions like NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, Fromer Eye Center, Pisacano Eye Surgery and Laser Specialists, and Eye Care Unlimited, Dr. Zachariah became proficient in managing ocular disease, pre-operative and post-operative care, and conducting routine comprehensive eye examinations. He is fluent in Spanish and Malayalam, which enables him to connect with and care for a broader range of patients.
